Who we help

This is who we are supporting in 2022 – 2023:

ICanDance! – ICanDance! run ballet and movement classes for children and young adults with learning difficulties, and we are delighted to be supporting them for the seventh year running. They provide a remarkable learning environment, where students feel the joy of movement while building self-confidence and abilities. They bring a group of their lovely students to all our shows and we are delighted to have them in the audience. Visit website.

North Middlesex Hospital Chemo Day Unit – As most of you will be aware, this unit cared for Sue Tucker-Dawson when she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2020. She is raising money through a number of challenges herself and we thought it would be good to support those who supported her and Laura. Visit website.

Russet House School – Russet House School is a centre of excellence for the education of autistic pupils. The School enables pupils to learn the knowledge and skills they need to build positive relationships, develop independence, achieve their full academic potential now and into adulthood, and lead happy lives. Russet House School is an inclusive and supportive community which celebrates strengths, differences and diversity, where everyone learns and grows together. Visit website.

Herts Young Homeless – The focus for this charity is on preventing homelessness – from education in schools and family mediation through to supporting 16-24 year olds in their first homes or caring for adults of all ages who have mental health issues and housing needs. Their services empower young people to be able to deal with the difficult situations in their lives, giving them the ability and confidence to 'do it themselves' and ultimately find stability. They have a variety of free services open to all 16-24 year olds who are homeless or are threatened with homelessness, and has been supporting vulnerable people in Hertfordshire since 1998.
